ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Tom Sloan served more than twenty-five years as a special agent with the Secret Service. During his career, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility as agent-in-charge of the Baltimore Field Office where he oversaw complex financial crimes investigations. Prior to that, he was agent-in-charge of the Major Events Division where he managed security systems for the U.S. government’s designated national special security events (“NSSE”). He remains an active member with the Secret Service’s NY/NJ Electronic Crimes Task Force. Upon retirement, he served as a senior security manager with the New York Stock Exchange and Western Union International, responsible for implementing company-wide security processes. Mr. Sloan has authored two books: Bratva’s Rose Tattoo and Guardians of Democracy.
